In 1991 Robin Spencer-Arscott and Suzie Pewter - both of whom have extensive and close ties within the insurance industry in Bermuda and internationally - developed the concept of an insurance conference produced by the industry for the industry and called it the Bermuda Insurance Symposium. Over time this event, held ever other year in Bermuda, has become known as the World Insurance Forum (WIF). The WIF is widely acknowledged as one of the leading industry conferences, drawing together, as both speakers and delegates, high level executives from the World’s (re)insurers. brokers and capital markets. One highlight of each event is the CEO leadership panel that gives attendees the opportunity to enjoy and participate in discussions of critical importance to the industry.
